Stockland Park Precinct

Fields for all sports

Team sports take to the field at Stockland Park’s outdoor sports grounds. Sunshine Coast’s sporting community play and train on the Stockland Park Precinct fields, participating in rugby union, rugby league, soccer, touch and much more. Support your team from the sideline with an energetic cheer and don’t forget to sport your team’s colours.

Quality grounds

Your team will find the fields are continually maintained by our professional horticultural staff to achieve best game play. From warm-ups and training to team meetings and grand finals, Stockland Park’s facilities will help keep your team performing at their best.

Night lighting is available on 10 of our fields.

Team facilities

You’ll be impressed with our high-quality grounds and facilities for sporting teams. Your team has access to change rooms, kitchens, assembly areas, first-aid facilities, power and water. The grounds are fully lit.

Year round sports

Due to the Sunshine Coast’s comfortable climate many sports can be played year round and Stockland Park is the place to do it. Seasonal sports share the grounds and create a diverse range of sporting activities.

Recycling and Waste Management

We are committed to reducing waste across Stockland Park Precinct including the sporting fields, Lake Kawana and Kawana Aquatic Centre.

Last year 2010 Stockland Park created 720m3 of waste which is about 2800 wheelie bins.

A waste assessment identified that 45% of rubbish thrown into the waste bin could be diverted to recycling as it was plastic bottles and aluminium cans.  By improving the placement of bins by pairing waste and recycling bins together along with improved signage and new bin lids will increase the amount of recycling by 50%.

The sporting clubs who use the venue are also encouraged to "Do the right thing and use the right bin".
