Rowing in Queensland has a proud history dating back to the 1800's and is the peak body for the
administration of rowing activities in Queensland. It conducts, encourages, promotes, advances,
controls and administers rowing activities throughout the State via a number of distinct functions,
including: |
• Administering the rules of rowing
• The organisation is committed to achieving it's goals and objectives. |
| The key focus areas for the sport are: |
• Creating opportunities for those with the desire & talent to access the way to State & National levels.
• Enable all participants to receive the coaching they need top perform at their optimum level
• Increase financial resources to underwrite the growth and future success of all levels of Rowing Qld
• Enhance and sustain the desired positioning of Rowing Queensland and its brands
• Provide sound leadership and equitable support to all stakeholders of Rowing Qld
• Maximise the benefits realised from government and commercial rowing partnerships. |
