Sunshine Coast FC, based at Stockland Park was founded in 2007 specifically to compete in the new Hyundai Queensland State League to provide a high level of football as a direct pathway to the A League.

Sunshine Coast FC will continue to provide a pathway for local footballer aspiring to compete at the highest level.

The Club’s team known as the “FIRE” have competed in the Hyundai Queensland State League since its inception in 2008, which gives Sunshine Coast players the chance to compete in Queensland, as far north as Cairns and south as the Gold Coast.

The Fire has dominated the State wide league with two premierships, two championships and a top four finish in its first three years of competition.

In 2010 Sunshine Coast FC senior team were the winners of the “Advance Sports, Sunshine Coast Team of the Year”.

The Club is also involved with providing opportunity for local football players to access fundamental chances through its links with International contacts in Japan and Oceania.

The Club has also forged links with the local community through initiatives and partnerships including close ties with the Kawana Waters State College Football Excellence Program.
